I've been keeping a weekly record of my weight since January 2014. With some exceptions, almost every value in kilograms maps onto the FM broadcasting range of 87.5 to 108 MHz.

Today, for example: 104.4 kg corresponds to 104.4 MHz.

A fic written 2 years ago is NOT OLD. Two years is nothing. Two years ago was yesterday.

Also I don't care if a fic is 10 years old. Leave those comments!! Even if you think the author isn't active, or moved on from the fandom, I promise you it will make them smile.

I commented on a fic that was 11 years old, and there was already a response by the time I got up the next morning. Comment on the fics, please, comment on them, I promise it'll make the author's day either way

I have one more aspect to add, although it's a little off-topic.

Don't be put off commenting if you don't know too much about the fictional universe, or what technique the author has used, or anything like that. Just leave the comment and the appreciation will shine through.

I'm pleased to report an idea has now dislodged itself.

Whether it was the same one that was brewing yesterday, however, is still debatable.

Here are my top tips for playing along with the venerable radio show Just a Minute:

• Hesitations become obvious almost immediately, while deviation usually manifests after a few seconds.

• Instead, listen out for repetitions. The only exemptions are short words such as: 'I', 'you', 'a,' or 'the'.

I think hantavirus needs a more frightening name. At the moment, it sounds like a knock-off version of Norton or McAfee founded by someone called Hank.
