Aaaand finished the matching fanny pack! The difference are the lining, I didn't have enough spooky skulls to fill up the backpack, just enough for this guy. . Still rough with sewing the inner lining with the outside casing, but I hope with practice I'll get to where I'll be 100% satisfied. For now, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, all considering 😃 . Pockets inside and out, and yea I mismatched the zippers since I had the white ones available, but they match the skulls so there! The tiny pockets to stuff little candies, haha~ . I've seen so many people wearing fanny packs as front/sling bags, so I can't help but analyze the bags I see when designing the pattern. I wonder how comfortable wearing the fanny pack crossed across my front side will be like... This past week or so, I've worked on making this backpack to carry around for PAX West! I've been wanting a minimalistic backpack but without wanting to spend too much on one. After watching a couple of videos on making one, I grasped the concept and drafted a pattern, and incorporated new techniques I've never done before - aka the flap over the zippers! . I used a lot of the leftover materials I bought from @dressew and only had to buy some color coordinating zippers. I would've used the leftover zippers I had but the mismatching colors kinda bothered me and I wanted to make this bag count! . Post-SFU Summer Festival 2019 post! . Thanks to everyone who came to visit and support my works!
