{Asseeege the Reaper walks through the winter forest, the snow soft beneath his red boots and the pine trees whispering in the cold air. Behind him float the Christmas ghosts/winter souls carrying their small wrapped gifts close to their chests.

The bells tied to Asseeege’s wooden staff ring softly with every step he takes, guiding the spirits through the snow like a bright holiday parade. In the silence of the forest, only the bells echo; a reaper’s melody, cozy instead of grim, carrying every wandering soul safely toward the light.}

Michelle and Asseeege step into the thick winter snow, their small figures surrounded by a world turned white. The cold bites sharply at the air as Michelle rubs her hands together, shivering. Asseeege stays silent, watching the snowfall with wide, curious eyes. The scene is quiet, heavy with frost, and the cold feels almost too big for two kids to stand against.

The last of the Halloween storm has passed. Michelle The Sun Rover and Asseeege The Reaper have walked through autumn’s dusk — and now the frost begins to fall.

I’m moving forward into December’s light, preparing for the next art battle: “Michelle The Sun Rover: 25 Days of Carol & Ember.”

{In the fading glow of Halloween, Michelle the Sun Rover and Asseeege the Reaper stand before Zelli the Blue Flame Witch; their tasks complete, their journey through Nightmare October finally at rest.

Around them, the air shimmers with blue fire. Blue ghosts, blue skeletons, blue pumpkins, and blue bats swirl in celebration, their laughter and light wrapping around the trio like ribbons of sapphire flame. Zelli smiles, her eyes burning with the calm of an ancient star.

For this Halloween, the nightmare is just the beginning. }
