honey, where's my super suit?

been thinking a lot about how miserable I was this time last year and proud of myself for being really very ok and even good now

i’m glad i’m not still in love with the boy who broke my heart

like even a few months ago there were still days where i really didn’t feel ok but lately i’m happy and ready to love someone new when the opportunity presents itself

also so i don’t really advertise this about myself because it’s pretty irrelevant most of the time but esp in the last year i’ve been coming to terms with my demisexuality and esp within the last few months or so it’s really helped me understand why it took me so long to get over things and made me feel better about my nagging attachment

but demisexuality kind of sucks sometimes because ngl i am a sexual human being w/ sexual desires and i want to fuck someone!!! but the idea of sexing with anyone who i don’t know on a very trusting and intimate level makes me want to vomit so there really isn’t a path for instant gratification :\

also i think my demisexuality is strangely intertwined with my recent realization that I’m a hufflepuff? Like I felt bad b/c I kept telling my queer roommate that I needed to come out as a hufflepuff, which definitely didn’t feel like the right language to be using, but I realize now that it’s because I was using it as a euphemism for coming out as demisexual? 

I’m ready to love and be loved! I’m happy being single but I miss having a profound connection with someone. I am an introvert, but don’t find happiness in complete solitude. I really prefer having someone to be an introvert with who will occupy the same space with me and keep me at peace v.v
