Mayhem had freshly escaped a laboratory, scales missing and frame covered in scratches as he fled from the scene, wires still connected to many sockets in his chassis. They crackled and spat sparks of electricity within the darkness of the forest, the moon being his only companion as he slithered for his life. So many tests. So many.. He was poked and prodded at for memories and information about his kind, having gotten no recharge whatsoever. His vision was blurred, and he blindly zig-zagged through the trees with sounds of distress.

He feared that they were following him. Mercilessly tracking him down with cyberhounds. And he was right. They barked in the distance, snarling and charging after him while bounding great distances. Clawed digits grasped at trees as he tried to regain energy, vents working to keep his frame cool while he hid. What he hadn’t noticed? The frame just feet away from him. And he would either panic or beg for assistance once he noticed.

Perceptor had been studying the surrounding area taking an interest into the cybernetic flora in the area, it resembled the human flora that he had had seen before. He could hear the sounds of cyberhounds in the distance but to be honest he didn't think anything of it, until he recognized the frequency of the barks, they were angry and searching for something. He looked up to see a orange figure, rather peculiar in appearance as well, but nothing too bizarre for the scientist he was a veteran in bizarre.

It wasn't until he saw the hookups and attachments still dangling from the other's form that it clicked, this orange mech was an escapee from the nearby lab. He knew exactly what lab too, the unethical one that he hated, he kept track of all the laboratories and from his knowledge the one he disliked the most was nearest to him. Those cyberhounds were looking for this individual, and there was a feeling inside him that compelled him to help said individual. He was aware the other didn't see him so he knew that he would probably startle the poor thing, "You there, come this way, I can help you.."His voice was hushed, but loud enough for the other to hear him.
