artillery fire in his ears while a couple of +25′s materializes onto the grid by his gamer tag (read: a shameless chanoftheyear). gaming, it’s all subconscious work. he handles the controller almost automatically. perhaps that’s why chanyeol’s really good with his hands. ‘good’ pertaining to building. you know, robots. programs. lego girlfriends. were you hoping he’d be handy in something else? yeah, you thought. or at least he’s supposed to be until there’s an ‘oh shit!’ when he gets head shot.
at this point, it’s a routine. the death screen and its ‘guardian down. waiting to revive’, the shameless laughter as he waits to respawn, the impending ‘did you just die, you fucking shit?’ in his headset.
that might just be the epitome of co-op campaign and sleep deprived conversation with oh sehun at two in the morning. where note: sehun’s the better player. not that chanyeol would ever say that out loud because his ego says, no. you’re park chanyeol. just look at yourself. you’re great.
“five minutes left, i bullshit it. i had to haul ass to finish in time that i don’t even think it was legible. you look at it and it’s probably like, ‘oh, i’m sorry is this math? or fucking morse code?’ anyways, yesterday i got on and saw that grades were posted.” a pause. god, chanyeol’s smiling.
“guess what i got on that final. out of 200, just guess, sehun.” and he leans forward with a shit-eating grin.
