I don't think I've shared this yet, but due to his mother's exposure to radiation when a teenager herself, Volkov's legs were deformed in the womb and now his muscles aren't strong enough to hold him up without aid for very long. But he doesn't let that stop him and will chase you down to best you with his crutches for being stupid <3

Based off the former bullet point, Volkov has Contamination OCD (not severe but strong) and gets extremely terrified that he is a carrier of all sorts of radiation-based diseases and will infect the people around him 😔 but its okay because Noah always helps him feel much much better <3

Jean-Luc is now OBSESSED with aliens, like crazy-obsessed about it X3 ,,, he was raised by his mama and she was just as big as an alien lover as her son <3 they watched all the Star Trek media they could get their hands on, traveled to all the alien hot-spots they could go to, and collected all sorts of memorabilia and artifacts together :3 and even tho she's old and can't get around very well now, they can still spend all day chatting about it <3

And basically everyone's got new hairdo's now, lol . . . Just longer hair because goddd is love long hair sm

Other chatacters than just the octonaust would be there cuz a circus needs quite a bit of people lol, so octo agents like Paani would be there 🥺 they take in allll the strayyyyssss

Barnacles wouls be a strong man (who really wants to be theatrical and also sing),

Shelllington would make practical effects like colorful smoke bombs and etc cuz hes a chemist in canon lol,

Tweak would work on technical things and Kwazii would beg to be shot as an anthren canonball,

Peso would still be a medic cuz circuses still need medics 🥺

The vegimals could be a tiny little choir!!!

Dashi would probably do aerial stunts using trampolines and all do many kinds of tricks i think 🥺 Kwazii wants to join her soooo bad

1. CB LOVES Hamilton, and Often listens to it while working out.

2. Kwazii is VERY Dramatic when is his crew or one of his treasures are missing.

3. Kwazii can talk very fast, and Often needs to slow down when talking to people who can't make out wtf he's saying.

4. Peso’s terrified of Sharks because his Dad was eaten by one. (Yes, Sharks can eat Penguins.)

5. When Peso first joined the Octonauts, He spoke Spanish (he didn't know English that well) and everyone was confused as to what he was saying. Luckily, Inkling had a book in the library so Peso can speak English. (and Barnacles and Kwazii can speak slight Spanish too.)

•Shellington carries an EpiPen in case of emergencies in his fur pockets which are located right under sea otters' armpits. Peso gave it to him after he found out about his allergy

•Kwazii likes to practice his sword fighting skills while listening to "Who Is Your Favorite Hero?" (Special thanks to @mickrabbit for this inspo)

•Kwazii and Tweak like to have videogame nights with each other in Tweak's room. What can I say? Its their love language~

•Paani knows parkour and has mastered all sorts of martial arts/fighting techniques. When he found out Kwazii knows cat-fu (see The Octonauts Explore The Great Big Ocean Book) he challenged him to a fight and now they do it all the time for fun. Sometimes they will do it out of arguing and the captain would have to step in before they destroy anything.

•Every six months Peso gives everyone on the Octopod a checkup. Anyone would speaks others wise is not allowed by Peso to go back to work (*Cough cough* Barnacles and Shellington *Cough cough*)

• Barnacles is touch-starved but he wont admit it trust me-

•Peso is a cuddle bug and Barnacles knows this so when he can't sleep or whenever he needs to Barnacles will cradle him in his arms like a baby or have him lie on top of his chest listening to his heartbeat and fall asleep like that

Theyre probably a teeny tiny bit insane but only a little! Sure they act bizarrely and like they can talk to spirits and do strange things like randomly lick rocks-

But their methods work! They like helping! Theyre good at tinkering and fixing things! And staring at people! Very closely!And theyre going to be there whether you like it or not so... yayyyy!

Doesnt seem to understand that theyre weaeing a mask and will deny wearing a mask even if they can see their own reflection. Typically roams around the sahara but has been spotted in different continents.

Hides that theyre a forerunner as well.

Its possible that theyve had run ins with the supernatural, at least due to a few of their rare nonsensical ramblings.

They also like Tweak alot and will make excuses to see Tweak.

Even the howling wind can't drown out the thudding of his heart against his chest.

Kwazii was never still or quiet, even when he slept. But now? Now he smelled like blood and death, limp in his arms.

He doesn't know how long he stood there, just that the familiar call of the octoalert, muffled by the wind, was the only thing that managed to pull him out of his shock. Even then- Even then, the others struggled to take Kwazii out of his arms so Peso could try- and try so hard- to save him.

It's sickeningly nostalgic. The pressure in his head sounded just like an arctic storm at its very worst.

Barnacles doesnt remember all the details from the day after he found Kwazii, lying limp in a pool of his own blood.

He had chased and chased and barreled through every obstacle following the scent of His Blood. But it was too late. It wasn't enough. He wasn't enough. He had let this happen and now Kwazii's freezing little body, not shivering, not even his stupid little whiskers- Was in his paws.

Kwazii was so still.

Mission failure.

His fault.

Those last three thoughts were what was viciously cycling through Barnacles mind as he sat numb in the hallway of the octopod, vegimals at his side. Right up until the slide of the med bays doors opened at long last. This is why he refused to sleep despite being up for nearly two days straight.

Kwazii had promised he'd be fine. That they'd meet up soon and be on their way back to the Octopod.

"Pirate's promise!"
