So, I've been debating about posting these pictures for a while, after much deliberation I decided I needed to share this.
Last week I went to Pasadena to check out the trail under the "Suicide Bridge" As we walked trying to find the way down to the trail I remember having this conversation with my friend about what if we saw someone attempting to commit suicide; I just wouldn't know what to say, what to tell them to convince them to stay, to convince them that there is always hope, to convince them that tomorrow will bring better news, Â I myself, often times walk around without faith and hope for humanity. Life can be hard and my conclusion at the end was that if you wanna unsubscribe to it, fuck it, then you should be able to do it without guilt and judgement from others. Then we got stopped by a police officer who told us to find a different path, someone was actually trying to jump off the bridge. From we were at I saw, in the distance, this girl, grabbing on to the bars, looking down, hovering over certain death, one bad thought away from ending it all. Fragile, lonely, scared, tired of it. What brought you here? Who hurt you? What the fuck happened? I found myself reconsidering everything I said just seconds ago... I wanted to hug her and promise her that she will be ok... I didn't tho... We walked down the path, had a little debate about existentialism and walked back to the car cos we were cold and it was getting dark.... She stayed there, the police and the fire department stayed there, frozen in time, waiting for resolution... I don't know who you are or what happened at the end... But know that I hope you are ok, wherever you are.
