in my dream jackie and i learned michelle was engaged to some random guy and even though we did try to be happy for her we started driving across the country i guess in the hopes of crashing the wedding but a week into our road trip he called off the engagment publicly and said she was a man-hater and would say misandrist things to him in bed hahaha

and my final life update is i finally figured out what tattoo to get and i WILL show you that but i can't do it until i take the bar!!

oh and i forgot i did get a car today because it was overshadowed in my mind by the triumph of the fiestaware. obviously i cannot show you all my license plates but rest assured the car is so cute and a lettymia-approved color and i will get good ones...

now that i have a fridge that makes crushed ice and a bedroom door and a couch i don't believe i could live any more luxuriously

one final miapost before i try to get some sleep: i can't prove this because it took me years to finish and post california but i wrote the scene where mia trounces vince at ehrgeiz: god bless the ring back in 2022 and at the time there was no real indication she'd play a video game because she's upstairs studying while the guys are doing that with letty. however it made sense to me that despite not actually caring she'd get competitive about it and then fast x came out and had her on the playstation or whatever with little b...yes. i know. she would like lesbian sex too

and just so my wonderful mutuals who have not seen all the movies know i'm making all this up. we've never seen libby on screen and i don't think we've even seen mia interact with her children outside of shots of her holding jack when he was a baby

and for the record i think mia is a good mother and i think she loves libby but i also think she is so scared. and especially if she has a son and then a daughter i think it takes her time to understand them as their own people and not just as reincarnations of herself and her brother. and My libby is a skeptic and an artist and so much of her comes from mia but on the whole she's a little more like letty and when letty points that out to mia i think it's such a relief to her. because letty is her other model of womanhood and they're clearly very different and have been all their lives but mia loves her and beyond that she appreciates the kind of woman letty is. and letty is not as deeply affected by things as mia is and i think it gives her hope that libby will be sturdy and resilient and imperfect but loving parenting won't fuck her up irreversibly. she knows letty turned out fine and that is a relief to her but i think to olivia she's still like you need to find a husband who will think to load and unload the dishwasher

one idea i have about mia as a mother is that she's a little bit of a catastrophizer and fixated on milestones unless her children [or maybe just her sons] share any trait with her brother and then she isn't worried about it At All. mainly i imagine little b is kind of a late talker and letty's like you think he's gonna pick it up? and mia's like of course. we don't need to do anything or take him to anyone about this. dom didn't talk until he was three. i also think she might be strict with libby about her grades but let jack in particular get away with being a slacker and they would end up having huge fights about that in libby's teenage years...as an adult i think libby would be able to understand what was going on but that's one of the reasons i think she's closer to letty as a teenager

did i even screencap the part of jb's essay where she said that she snatched her first son when he came out and immediately tried to walk away with him and the doctors had to be like noooo jordana he's still attached!!! the cord!!!
