She rolled her eyes, a smile forming as she did so. “Better?” She asked. Her eyes widened at the mention of lunch, and she nodded her head, “Yeah, sure. Did you have anywhere in mind?”

‘’I’ll take you somewhere special.’’ A little smile graced his lips. ‘’Come on, you’re taking a day off. ‘’ Michael said,  as he offered her his arm like a true gentleman. ‘’There’s this little italian restaurant around the corner. I think you’ll like it.’’

TASK 002 - EVERYTHING IS A TEST

“I’ve been great, as per usual.” She stated with a shrug. “You should know to expect nothing less from me. What about you, Mikey?” She asked coyly, matching his sarcasm and his smirk with one of her own.

‘’Better, now that you’re here.’’ Michael had no control of the situation, turning into the best game of cat and mouse they ever played.  Soon, he had started taunting her, teasing her, flustering her, and he'd found that he quite enjoyed it.

“Yes, and that’s why I am highly suspicious of you.” She said softly, a small smile on her face. “Ok, you’re not wrong about that,” While Evie never liked accepting help from people, she felt so inclined to accept his. Evie looked over at the list then up at him, a smirk on her face, “What do I owe you?”

‘’A smile, you owe me a smile.’’  He rubbed his hands together with a big grin plastered on his face. ‘’I wanted to ask you if you'd like to have lunch with me today?’’ Michael smirked slightly and kept eye contact, but insisted on being a gentleman and kept his distance.

“We’re pretty close? It baffles me how you’re able to pull this shit out of your ass so easily. Wyatt is a friend of mine and a co-worker, but we don’t regularly hang out or anything like that. We’ve known each other a long time, but that’s about it. Why you’d think such a thing is beyond me.” Arielle replied, crossing her arms against her chest. She sat at her desk whilst he sat a few feet away from her at one of the desks her students usually say at. “It’s none of your business, you’re right about that. So, don’t bring it up or put your nose where it doesn’t belong. And if you absolutely feel as though you cannot control yourself in getting into my business, at least have your facts straight. Understand, brother?”

‘’Hey, hey, don’t jump to conclusions. Ari,you’re my sister and best friend and I love you dearly, but you can quite overwhelming sometimes. Wyatt is a decent guy, we’ve spoken a couple of times. I just said that you two are close friends. Nothing wrong about that.. ‘’He grabbed a sandwich. ‘’Now, let’s change subject, I think we should all have a family dinner, I miss you, guys. Well not you, I see you everyday.’’ He said  in a joking manor. ‘’You’re my favourite person in the world. I don’t want us to fight ever again.’’

Just a lot at work but besides that is everything’s perfect. How’ve you been, Mike? Oh no, don’t worry about being annoying. Who isn’t annoying. I can be that too”

‘’I’ve been busy, really busy lately. Dad’s been MIA so I’m looking after my huge family.’’  He sighed, deciding to let it go and focus on the conversation. ‘’Everyone, I guess. How are you parents?’’ Mike smiled,  looking her directly in the eyes.
