Michael Tolliday is a highly motivated and goal orianted idividual seeking to expand his knowledge and experiance in any way or form in the pursuit in furthering his career in the design world, with a flare for design and passion for architectual salvage. A time served upholsterer and love for interiors. Michael Tolliday has be responsible for designing hotels, restuarants, bars, nightclubs, kitchens,bathrooms and other spaces in 2020 and Atricad design software for homeowners, contractors and builders, architects, and businesses working directly with customers to agreeing concepts, designs, materials, timescales and realistic aspirations within budgets. Michael Tolliday is an avid learner with a flare for design and has built a successful business by working directly with customers in identifying design requirements, materials, specifications and costs often working within tight budgets agreeing schedule of work detail to fulfil customer aspirations and delivering work to the highest standards within budgets and on time Michael Tolliday strengths are excellent communication and interpersonal skills which enables him to relate well to people on all levels plus a positive ‘can do’ attitude which I apply to all aspects of work even when working under pressure to tight deadlines and able to maintain a sense of humour and positive ‘can do’ attitude even in challenging circumstances. Over the year Michael Tolliday has designed and created unique bespoke designs for customers including sofas, chairs, displays using a wide range of materials including leather working 1:1 directly with customers making their own designs and ideas a reality Responsible for using specialist tools and equipment while assembling creations and products completing all tasks to the highest standards, rectifying any minor problems to customer satisfaction Carrying out QA inspections prior to preparing and packaging and loading into containers for distribution across the UK and supporting colleague son major tasks Responsible for ensuring sufficient level of consumable materials available at all times and ensuring work area remained clean and hazard free at all times
