So here i am in Abbey Road's legendary Studio 2 on June 1, 1987. It was 20 years ago today- THAT day. It was the party for Sgt. Pepper's 20th anniversary. . The BBC caught me here in their news that day. My partner in crime that day was @sainter2 . He found this gem. Amazing cinematographer. In fact he is part of @marymccartney 's new doc on the studio "if these walls could sing". Sam and I spent some quality time that day with Mary's mum @lindamccartney . What an amazing woman. Couldn't make it out to @dirtylettucepdx today so I made my own fried "chicken" today. Made with oyster mushrooms. This is going to have some faux mashed "potatoes" with @nora_cooks_vegan_ 's amazing gravy. And since I don't have enough room at my place, if you are coming to Portland and you want the absolute BEST plant-based southern food, Dirty Lettuce is the only place in town. A hate crime is a threat or act of intimidation, harassment, or physical force that is motivated by bias against a person or group based on their actual or perceived: race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, and physical or mental disability. This, of course has been fueled by politicians promoting LGBTQ hate in order to appeal to their base. Bodies for votes appears to be a trade off. They are willing to make for power.
