Also, something that caught my attention is the move in Japan to unify the series name with the international "Castlevania" for the first time in 24 years.

The very first post on the newly created Japanese X official account for this new game states: "To commemorate Castlevania's 40th anniversary, we have renewed the portal site and also opened an official X account." There is no mention of "Akumajō Dracula/悪魔城ドラキュラ", and both the official X account and the portal site are now unified under "Castlevania."

Furthermore, there appears to be a movement to standardize the name of the protagonist of the so-called CV3 as Trevor/トレバー.

During the LoS series, it was Trevor in Japan too, but back then it was understood because it was made by an overseas development studio. This new title is the same situation, though...

I hadn't noticed until now that the setting of the LoS series, at least up until MoF, was described as somewhere in medieval Europe, not somewhere in medieval Romania.

So, I made some slight changes to their outfits and removed the embroidery brush.

I should have noticed when I saw Marie and Sypha's dresses...

To be honest, I never really placed much importance on historical accuracy to begin with, and that's still the case after the revisions...

But I think simple village girl clothes are nice too.

Selena should be a character from an era when exposing women's legs was taboo, so that costume on the North American flyer likely doesn't match the historical accuracy.
