While trying to do some research on Simons outfit for a cosplay and looking at the movie again for what version of it I should do..

I realized he is wearing TWO harnesses??? one under the shirt and one over the shirt- (and then ofc the hood harness thing.)

I'm genuily wondering why- idk if they talked about it in costume design stuff (I know there is this whole guide that was made, but it costs like 25 dollars. And idk if it's worth it to get-)

Really wondering why he is wearing two, they could have easily left the one over the shirt off, he is taking it off at one point in the movie anyways?
