So Michael was kidnapped, tortured, lost his memory, was dropped in Montana thinking he's a criminal, losses some brain activity (he thinks slower), has to work at a ranch with a boss thats a jerk, barely talks for 4 years, remeets his wife but she's with someone else, she treats him like a bother to her for weeks, gets mad when he kisses her even though they are married, gets his memories back and has his godson hate him, then have Jane leave him AGAIN so she can go raise HIS cat & he's alone?

But according to some *people* Michael got a happy ending.. L-O-L

FAV: Best. Kiss. Ever. After that kiss you just knew Jane and Michael were meant to be together. Jane finally chose Michael. I watched that scene at least 10 times a day until the new episode aired.

BUT ALSO THE 2ND PROPOSAL, AND “DON’T THINK, JUST TELL ME, DO YOU STILL LOVE ME” AND CAMPING AND RUNNING INTO EACH OTHER AT TARGET AND “I’D LOVE TO” TURNS “I LOVE YOU”

LEAST FAV: Literally the next episode where Mateo gets hurt while Michael and Rafael are fighting. It was just so out of character, I couldn’t believe the writers did that shit.

a year on and i decided to rewatch jtv (until mike's death anyway). just wondering, what are your thoughts on it now? I unfortunately made the mistake of watching s5 and I have a feeling that Gina as a villadero shipper might have let her actual feelings through during certain scenes especially the villadero ones (i.e. whole of s5e7). either way s5 has tainted this show for me. I couldn't enjoy any of my fave characters though I loled at times 🤷🏽‍♀️

I know this ask is a few months old, sorry about that.

To answer your question: I barely think about the show now, which is crazy considering how much it took over my life and brain for at least 4 years.

I actually stopped watching S3 before Michael died (still haven’t watched that full episode). Then I watched the end of the S4 finale and some of the early S5 episodes until I realized all the Villadero spoilers were true. So fortunately I can’t speak on Gina’s acting in those last few episodes, but the show was tainted for me long before S5.

And let my just say I’m 1000% a bitter Villadero shipper, but I felt and still feel it’s warranted. This isn’t the 1st time I haven’t gotten an endgame ship and I’m sure it won’t be the last, but Villadero shippers had our couple break up TWICE prior to Michael’s fake death. We went through all the drama already and for the writers to basically say “fuck you Villadero shippers” and “fuck the foundation we’ve spent 2+ season creating” and “forget every scene that tells you these 2 ppl are soulmates”, I’ll never accept j//afael or watch that show in full.

Just finished watching Tom Scavo (Desperate Housewives) standing in the middle of the street telling Lynette she’ll always be the love of his life, which sent me into a Villadero Youtube spiral, haven’t done that in awhile.
