The Mountain 🏔 - I just love painting cute imaginary illustrations because you can just see them in, well, illustrations made by people! So, I decided to give this a go. One of the commission ideas for a favourite client of mine. I decided to upload this after the final piece is chosen (which is not this one 🙈) so here it is; a peak of the basic process of painting with watercolour. - Process: 1. Sketch with a 6H pencil. I usually will do a small piece first just to see what it will look like and only then proceed with watercolour paper. 2. Outline with a 0.4 Micron drawing pen. You can use any other pen of your choice as long as it is waterproof. 3. Choose a colour scheme for the whole painting. This is absolutely necessary for me to get a very nice vibe for the painting. 4. Masking fluid for the clouds, house & the girl. Took a very long time to dry so please plan ahead unlike me 🤦🏻‍♀️ 5. Painting! It took me 12 layers to complete the whole painting. - I hope this helps for those who wanted to try out watercolour scenery painting! •Sushi Date• - My kind of #inktober theme 😂 I was craving for the Sushi King's Nanban Chicken and I thought why not drawing stuff there as well? However this video was at a different cafe because the sushi place was packed and we felt bad to spend more time there and not considering other people who wants to dine in there. - First, I sketched the rough draft of how the subjects should be placed on the page and only then proceed with the inking & colouring.
