LinkedIn is one of my least favorite social media platforms I use due to my profession (not related to crafts).

With all of the posts I’ve seen on the platform related to AI and majority of the companies being on board in using it, I thought it would be a cheeky idea to embroider the typical “I’m happy to announce” posts online.

I will admit, this took a lot of time than usual for me to embroider this. But this was worth it. In terms of the coloring, I tried to match it as close to the graphic. In the original image, the orange and the yellow appeared to be slightly muted.

Also, I’m not sure what’s the point of celebrating with a cupcake. Why couldn’t it be cake or ice cream? I don’t know the lore behind the LinkedIn graphic.

One last thing…if you’re using LinkedIn and aren’t aware of their recent inclusion of Generative AI Improvement and want to opt out, you can do so by going to Settings —> Data Privacy —> Data for Generative AI Improvement —> Off.
