Did somebody say “post your drafts”? Well, here is the one and only post of mine that I, for whatever reason, deemed unworthy to publish! Here it is, unearthed after 9 years. I can only imagine it is a Hotline Bling reference? Which…. didn’t age particularly well, did it!!

ANYWAY, hello, darlings, it’s been quite a while. How is everyone doing? MARVELOUSLY, I’m sure. I know I said eons ago that I wouldn’t post on this blog anymore, but with Undertale’s 10th anniversary coming up, I felt obliged to post once again.

If you didn’t know, Toby Fox created a webpage to submit your favorite memories of Undertale. My first thought was of how memorable it was to have run this blog when I did, so I mentioned it in my memory. It felt fitting to come back and say something.

I’m not sure if anyone will see this, but just know I love you. You matter. Keep on fighting, because there will always be things on this earth to live for, and there will always be at least one person to live for: YOU!

You have so much living left to do, dear! I believe you are more than what you’ve been through. I think you should look into getting a therapist, or psychiatrist. Depression meds may help you! It’s a process, though.

You can’t possibly know that you’re NEVER going to do something worthwhile. And who decides what is “worthwhile” anyway? I played video games all morning, and it made me happy, so I say that’s worthwhile. If you want to go outside and ignore your to-do list, but you’re loving the breeze and the sun feels great on your skin? That’s worthwhile. Your life isn’t set in stone, and you can make changes based on your happiness! Whether or not your life meets someone else’s standards is irrelevant. You do what you want to do, and you change what you want to change. THEN you decide what’s worthwhile, and what you want to live for. 

Hi, darling. What you need is a good support system. It’s ok to mess up. Especially when you’re young. Take every opportunity to learn! Maybe in the future, you’ll know enough that you won’t mess up in the same way again.

A good support system can include your family and friends, but I would also suggest seeing your school counselor. They will likely have some resources and advice for you, and can even help you with the bullying problem. 

Dear, just remember, you are more than how you exist to other people. You are a wonderful person, so anyone who forgets that is someone who isn’t worth your time.
