I'm mostly trying to get an idea of how many self shippers have interactions with their f/os through the astral plane, hear them speak to them and help them through their day to day, and whether they consider that a form of plurality or not.

I think i used to follow them on deviantart years ago. I remember seeing their selfship drawings and feeling inspired tbh. I saw her just being unapologetic about her love for this otherwise forgetable character and i loved it. It inspired me to draw selfship art myself and make a blog for my selfship stuff.

Not physically, but you’ve picked up some of their habits. Their nervous ticks, what they do with their hands. Little mannerisms that make others go “you’ve been spending too much time around them”.

to my fellow american selfshippers;

your f/o loves you so much. they know times are stressful right now, and they know how strong you are. and they know you're gonna be able to make it through this, no matter how rough it is. they'll do absolutely anything to help you through these tough times.

youre the strongest person they know. remember that.

imagine just doing your favorite activity with your fictional bestie, because your fictional bestie loves to spend time with you, you always have so much to talk about, they are always so happy to support you, to listen to you, to have your back, they are happy you exist and they are your bestie for a reason!

they are happy to be part of your life and to learn your secrets, holding your hands and drying your tears during difficult times, also sharing a laugh with you on happy times, your fictional bestfriend see you as part of their family and they will be always there for you.

The guests have all gone home sloshed and suitably impressed. The venue is a mess. The music is still playing, low, and unobtrusive.

Your F/O puts their arm around you, half-empty bottle of wine in their free hand, and asks if you had a good time.

You answer, and they chuckle, rubbing their thumb over the curve of your jaw.
