So- drumroll please!- @sonic-not-sonic and I are hosting Metonic Ship Week this year with the permission of TheEnigmaMachine (thanks again, btw). This is the poster sonic-not-sonic and I made for it, I hope you all like it.

Anyways, onto the part you all are waiting for: the dates!

Metonic Ship Week will be set for December 21-28 for this year. So for each day of that time frame, if your heart so desires, you can post something for Metonic based on the prompts for each of the days listed above- be it fanfiction, fanart, etc.

I finally got around to finishing this drawing. <3 I had this sitting in my phone half coloured for a while now, and finally decided to finish it.

Also, with another project of mine, I found that I absolutely HATE colouring in sepia and have vowed to never colour that way again.

One of the reasons you like metonic is because it's rare? If one day it became the most popular ship in the world, would you like it less?

There is definitely an element to this, yes. My tastes just tend to be very obscure, and I like building up things that don’t have a large following. I’m a hipster, basically.

Why have you deleted your Twitter?

I just don’t really use Twitter that much, and I’m not a huge fan of the platform. I thought it was probably best to just delete it since there was nothing on there and I don’t intend to use it again.

What do you most hate about the sonic fandom and/or SEGA?

Hate isn’t the word I would use. I don’t hate the Sonic fandom or SEGA. But I do think, creatively speaking, we’re just in two very different places. Sometimes you grow as a person, and then find what you were doing is no longer who you are now.

The social media landscape has also changed quite a lot since I started doing this, even five years ago. I do feel something like an anachronism sometimes.

First off, sorry I'm late in telling you this. I keep getting distracted with things, lol. Secondly- OH MY GOSH I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE ALIVE, HIIIII!!!!! And thirdly (Ik that's probably not a word but Idc) YES- please do make that blog you were talking about earlier, if you haven't already. Your art is amazing, and even if it's not Metonic, I will gladly spam your blog with likes.

I wouldn’t say I’ve lost interest forever, but I am taking a bit of a break currently. In the future, I may come back to it once I’m feeling a little less burned out. I do feel focusing on just Metonic was limiting me creatively, so I’m trying to work on things that are more challenging artistically.

I do apologize though. You all have been a great community, and I’ve really enjoyed interacting with you all. I will still be around, so please don’t be a stranger!

Wait hold the phone- there’s a 1984 fandom???

Just barely lol. There’s hardly anything but I’m trying to get it started. I think there’s a lot of interesting lore in Orwell’s 1984 that needs to be fleshed out, and I’m surprised there’s so little of it out there.

For example, there was a big nuclear war in 1954, so by the events of the book, the world has only had 30 years to recover from that. What impact did the war’s devastation have on the way Ingsoc was formed? What about Eurasian and Eastasia? In the Inner Party working with the other countries behind the scenes? If so, why and how? This is the kind of stuff I want to dig into.

I actually got distracted recently by the 1984 fandom and ended up setting up an entire 1984 RP server lol. I know it’s totally unrelated to Metonic, but if anyone wants me to start posting the 1984 artwork on another account or join the server, let me know!

your art, especially in the checksum comic, reminds me of the later archie comics. i love how smooth it is. also, i like how expressive you draw metal's eyes.
