It's sometimes really interesting to hear what people think of the town they live or lived in! :)

i grew up in a seasonal beach town and hateddd it when i was younger (as one does), but grew so much appreciation for it after moving away for some years.

coming back later to visit my parents made it feel so special and allowed me to focus only on the good parts. i love the quiet off season now - especially after living amidst the chaos of city life for a few years.

now, the busy summers provides me with the fun social life i had in the city, but i can also embrace the peace and quiet of the winters and enjoy the fresh air and solitude.

i think that growing up somewhere with the pace of life being dependent on the seasons really made me develop a strong mentality of no rainbows without rain that has gotten me through a lot as well
