The Dragon/Wyvern debate that keeps popping up makes me imagine a work in which wyverns are a sapient race, but most (though not all) take umbrage to being called dragons since they find other dragons unsapient and savage beasts. Hell, one religious faction would ctively deny they are evolved from them (cough cough creationists).

Basically, rewatching Backyardigans made me realise how many preschool shows and casual games alike in the 2000s were both using the same look and to a lesser extent, same feel:
Setting is either Bright sunny rural country/valley or park, or suburbia....
or Homey cluttered houses.
Bright colours
Created by photobashing or mixing CG with live action.
A general feeling of joy, comfort and nostalgia.
Emphasis on play and imagination.
Examples:
Anything made by Little Airplane (Wonder Pets!, 3rd and Bird, Small Potatoes)
Little Einsteins
Big Fish games (e.g Monsterquest)
Blues' Clues
Team Umizoomi
World Archery Tour
Other examples that are visually similar in looks or feel if not method of creation are:

The Dinosaur Renaissance
I managed to dig up a documentary on dinosaurs no one has heard of (ITV's "The Dinosaur Trail" 1983) and it's so far the only post-1979 Documentary I've been able to locate that doesn't really take into account the Dinosaur Renaissance. It's very odd, to say the least! See for yourself, it's on YouTube!
