Got my scope today. Love the radiation shielding warning on it. It came in pretty good condition though the front cover was damaged I assume in shipping oh well. Looks great though can't wait to hook her up and try her out

I got my components in today, still am amazed that amazon manages to get stuff in on Sunday. More pics coming of the boxes of components I bought in the mean time here is the power supply I got with my "one hung low" multimeter as Dave over at EEVBLOG would likely call it. Anyways I'm fairly pleased with this supply it's rated 2.5v-15v @ 2A maximum. It doesn't have a load disconnect though which kinda scares me, I'm sure I'll end up blowing something out with it. I also noticed that it seems to have a big capacitor at the output leads which makes me want to tear that puppy open even more just to see how that's laid out.

Forgot to post this the other day when I got it, manually soldered 15 pin headers on the sides of this arduino Nano compatible board (OSEPP Nano)

Finished salvaging part from this pcb, time to find a new one or hopefully my new components will come in tommorow!

Today was pay day! Got my electronics swag, frys was short on components so I ended up buying caps and resistors at radio shack, though I'm going to order more components off amazon/ebay.

So I'm trying to pick up some theory about electronics and have been watching EEVBlog on youtube. Quite edu-taining if you ask me. Ultimately Id like to build quite a few different devices and just generally dabble in electronics for the enjoyment of doing so. Currently my next big project is to make a higher wattage rating box mod to replace my Volcano Lavatube mod. The thing Im really having trouble with right now towards that goal is figuring out circuit that will push moderate voltage through a low resistance circuit at some pretty kicking amps. Anyways if anyone has any ideas or just some rough information I could read about those kinds of circuits that would be smashing. But for now its back to more reading and watching videos about this stuff I suppose!
