1. find the sprite that you want from the danganronpa wiki and download it. open it up with the drawing program of your choice (i use paint tool sai), lower the opacity of the pic, and now you can start sketching the design. i like to keep a copy of the original sprite on the side because i can refer to it and see how close they look. 

2. clean up the lines. if your sketch is a little too messy (like mine are), you can keep cleaning and thinning the lines until they look nice. 

3. if you don’t want to redraw some parts of the sprite (like the face or hands), just paste the parts you want underneath the lines.

4. add the base colors. usually i just color pick from the sprite and mess around with them until it looks fine

5. then do some basic shading

6. add the texture (linked above), and set the layer style to ‘overlay’, and change the opacity accordingly

6. do some airbrushing + other small corrections (stray hairs, etc.) and you’re done!
