I've never been more afraid of thinking how SJM may screw Lucien Vanserra's character in the next book. I mean I was rutting for Cassian in Nesta's book, but his character greatly disappointed me. In my head, I see Lucien's character a mixture of: Colonel Brandon (sense and sensibility); Lord Edward Rochester (Jane Eyre); Simon Basset (Bridgeton); and Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice). I see Elain's book a mixture of regency era of forbidden love, romantic hero, unwanted arranged marriage type of story. In my opinion, I hope she delivers it!

I've not read the new released House of Flame and Shadow book, but based on several posts about it...can Nesta leave Cassian and just go live with Eris Vanserra? Can Eris go save our Queen and treat her like royalty that she is! Can they both use their fire power to rule the world while having crazy ardent s3x while at it! Cassian doesn't deserve the mate that The Mother gave him...he needs to grow some balls!

I’d like to read a scene were sjm in her next book uses a similar scene like this. Have Lucien take a brief swim in order to de-stress himself, only to have Elain encounter him with his wet blouse stuck to his body. Earning a glimpse of his wonderful upper body and Elain all shocked--but internally admires him.

Elain & morning after glowing
[Elain flinched. But Nesta couldn’t stop the words from pouring out. “No one suggested you either shape up or be shipped back to the human lands.”
Elain, surprisingly, held her ground. “I wasn’t drinking myself into oblivion and—and doing those other things.”
“Fucking strangers?”
Elain flinched again, her face coloring.
Nesta snorted. “You’re living amongst beings who have none of our human primness, you know.” Elain squared her shoulders again, just as Nesta added, “It’s not like you and Graysen didn’t act on your feelings.”
It was a low blow, but Nesta didn’t care. She knew Elain had given her maidenhead to Graysen a month before they’d been turned Fae. Elain had been glowing the next morning.]
Not too sure what to think about this? Read this and was a bit annoyed. She glowed after Graysen... I hope SJM redeems herself and writes that Elain freaking transmits a positive discharge of energy and fu** shines bright like a lightning strike the morning after Lucien takes her for a ride... I wanna see her shining so bright that she freaking blinds folks....
