Mercurial Waters

Oh. this makes me so sad. My life is just... becoming "that 38 year old who ___". I wish people would just be nice to others IN GENERAL and not judge them so harshly on age, disability, appearance, etc. Things like this sound so sweet right? When you are one of those, 38 and/or fat, you'll hear it a bit differently. Yes, you going out of your way to bless my elderly ass with a smile or a hello is nice-- it's kinda how non-toxic adults interact, so it benefits YOU to start to learn how to be pleasant to those who aren't in your exact demographic. Honestly "we" (the 38 and/or fat) have been putting ourselves in anxiety producing situations just to get by in life for SO long, a freshman lecture or a trip to the gym is really the last place most of us are concerned with strange younger people patronizing us with their kind-act-for-the-day. JUST TREAT PEOPLE EQUALLY, please? Don't try to assess the age and demographic of everyone and decide you know their stories? Please? Thanks :)
