writing hate comments about sunoo being ‘too feminine’ and ‘gay’ while ignoring his insane talent that’s so far beyond what ur whole existence could ever come close to. meanwhile, ur hunched over like a mouldy goblin, typing with fungus infested fingers that probably smell like expired tuna, festering inside your mom’s basement where your presence is the reason every family dinner ends in silence. they should have flushed u down the toliet the moment they saw that glitched out face that looks like a cursed snapchat filter fighting for its life. crawl back into the sewage you came from, scrub ur crusty ass, and get GET. A. JOB before society files a restraining order and the universe demanding a refund on ur birth, and before you become a horror tale, no one dares to mention around children.

i wanna get into andteam but I watched iland and idk if it’s evil editing or what, but K didn’t seem like the greatest person to me? Maybe I’m biased because my ult is Heeseung but idk. The same could be said for Ni-Ki but he was 14-15 when the show aired, I think K was old ebough(?). But seeing recent clips of him he seems extremely supportive of his members! (And my bsf also loves K so i hear a lot of good things about him!). No hate to him obviously!! Just wanted you input!

so i'm going to apologize right away if my tone does not sound as nice as it usually does while i answer this. i am honestly just very tired of the "k was mean" discourse and people not taking the time to see the entire situation as a whole. all everyone sees is "k was mean. riki cried" when it is NOT that cut and dry

every single person on iland was tired, frustrated, stressed and overworked. each of them were being pushed to their limits. have you ever been so tired and exhausted that your words don't come out that great or your patience is a little thin? keep this in mind when you think about iland k

k was the only person who expressed his frustration to the people to their faces instead of going behind their backs and talking about them like what people did with heeseung. could he have worded things better? sure! but given that in the moment he was exhausted, frustrated, etc (which are not negative emotions) he tried his best to express himself. riki did not just cry because of what k said to him. riki cried because he was ALSO feeling exhausted, frustrated etc. it's not so black and white. and no one likes to be scolded or called out by someone they admire. it's embarrassing but what k said was not wrong

we also have to consider the fact that because k is the oldest he inherently had MORE responsibility put on him than everyone else. he's immediately held to a higher unfair standard and it's not his job to parent a bunch of teenagers. he was there to fight for his dream just like everyone else and he acted like everyone else

reality tv always wants a villain. so because k had the guts to express his frustrated feelings outwardly was gold for them. there was absolutely evil editing and they purposefully didn't show just how close k was with riki or jay etc. they focused on k's relationship with taki and made it look like he favored one over the other. k and riki are friends to this day. if k truly was so horrendously mean like people try to make him out to be, both jay and riki would not speak so highly of him still or be in contact with him

idols are held to extremely high and sometimes unrealistic standards. k is human. he's allowed to not be perfect all the time. he's allowed to say things and have them be misinterpreted. he's allowed to not be everyone's cup of tea. but what makes me mad is out of all the "drama" that happened on iland this is the thing people will not let go of. if you think he was mean, okay that's fine that's your opinion. i would hate if people referred to some of my most traumatizing moments in my life and denounced me to just how i reacted when pushed to my limits. he is so much more than the person he was on iland. he is extremely loving, kind, patient, and considerate to not just his members and i really urge you to take the time to see the kind of person he is outside of iland

another thing to keep in mind is we don't have the full picture of that moment. things were edited and framed in ways to keep an audience engaged. we also did not get to see every moment on iland. we didn't get to see how they interacted when the cameras were off, we didn't get to see a LOT. we got a snippet of some discourse and then were moved along to the next part of the show. we are missing a lot of context to what happened
