I think one of the biggest lies we are taught as little kids is that doing the right thing and upholding good morals is rewarding, but in my entire experience of trying to do good things, I have lost so many friends and became nearly infinitely worse off than before. And I don't think that this is a phenomenon unique to me - there are millions of examples all around the world where good people are punished for attempting to do the right thing; Greta Thunberg, Anthony Fauci, Luigi Mangione, etc (just naming some modern examples off the top of my head). Yet, we have an entire legion of sexual predators and abusers who roam completely unpunished, praised even, regardless of the amount of harm and pain they have inflicted towards other people. And of course, you don't do the right thing because you expect some kind of award, but you certainly don't expect to lose all of your friends either. It just sucks.

Almost nothing more infuriating than being in a fandom that actively upholds and defends AI usage when one of the biggest messages of the game is anti-corporation and conservation I hate yall
