my meowcraft base lore is that there used to be like a small commercial mine operation or whatever. its been there for long enough for a nearby train station be named after it. but then it got abandoned, very suddenly. potentially because of the eldritch worshipping ground not too far away :) and so it all was left abandoned like that for years, before some hippies went "yk, this is free real estate, actually!" and took over and made a commune there. a pretty and colorful one at that

Day 20 of living with Fred.

Today I found a wild zombie that somehow managed to squeeze itself into an empty space inside one of our walls. Fred seems generally jumpy (that with the feds looking for him, apparently), but just then he flat out ran to the opposite side of the room and refused to come any closer or move from there at all. I was forced to get rid of it for him. No new roommates for us anytime soon it seems, smh. (The zombie couldn't even do tricks, so that was a waste anyway).
