↳ This is my MCYT sideblog! I mostly talk about youtubers & streamers within or connected to the State SMP (aka Ish's civilization videos). I don't talk about the videos themselves as much as I do the content creators connected to them.
↳ My three favorite streamers are Flux, Pili, and Saps!
↳ I use the tag #statefriends to refer to the general friend group web of those who participated in Chained Life, Decayed & Decrepit, and other related events. This is so I can talk about State SMP streamers without clogging the State tag with unrelated posts.
↳ I use "duo" names and "ship" names interchangeably. I tag characters as just their names (e.g. "flux" rather than "fluixon"), but I only switched to that system recently, so my older posts will have their full usernames.

I really don't like it when people act condescending when they know more about my favorite streamers than I do. I am extremely sensitive about this and I will ghost or block you if I don't like the way your information was delivered to me. Sorry. Other than that I'm a very friendly person.
My main interests:
Anything to do with Flux, Pili, or Saps. I particularly love those three as a trio! Their unofficial trio name is Meowawarata, because "Meowawa duo" refers to Pili (who meows) and Flux (who says "wawa"). When you add the "arata" from "Saparata", you get Meowawarata. Hence my username!
Anyone else within the previously mentioned #statefriends group. This includes, but is not limited to: Thomas, Gray, Seraphim, Jophiel, Cynikka, Jaw, Meagon, Snowbird, Rotation, Gotoga, Magic, Ymi, Sidefall, Venus, Pleir, Schpood, Eesd, and PGD. [List is in a very rough order of how often you'll see them discussed on this blog, and definitely does not include everyone!].
RustyCourage's Soul Hunt SMP. It's an absolute work of art as well as being very short and easy to watch!
The Realm SMP (I am slowly working my way through bits of Pili's POV. I can't watch all of his streams because they're not all available and also that's not possible, but I'm doing my best).

A dynamic i wish people talk more is Gray and Saps, they mean so much to me and saps tend to notice and accommodate whenever he sees others teasing gray more, she is another person he isn't avoiding being affectionate to. Responds to her "i miss you" and "i love you"s
The first blind, deaf, mute, and drunk stream we get to witness first hand how much trust and reliance he has on gray. Constantly forgetting she is deaf and always addressing her. In the cooking vidcon one, he chose songs he knew gray would like and enjoy after teasing her for a few mins
Gray also has so much adoration and respect for saps, one of his biggest supporters. During the vidcon cooking stream, she did not entertain the idea of saps doing the cleaning even when chat was demanding it (even as a joke). Just like saps puts a lot of trust in gray, she also puts a lot of faith in saps
And this dynamic sorta bleeds to DaD but thats a whole different discussion altogether

YES. TRUE. Occasionally Saps will fall into similar pitfalls as [gestures vaguely at the Gray-Flux dynamic] but on the whole he's careful to not go too far with teasing and still hang out and have fun with her. He's similar to Thomas in the sense that he gets a huge kick out of riling her up, which is always fun to watch, but he's objectively nicer about it, lol. (Except when he exposed her for listening to mommy ASMR I guess?)
Also wasn't there a story about how when Saps first met her at VidCon he was trying to make her do her patented "lawnmower" laugh? And she was trying really hard to resist it but was struggling and kept laughing despite her best efforts? Pretty sure that was Saps... that's super cute and I absolutely agree more people should talk about them!

Posts about dog-coded characters on here always put a lot of emphasis on the metaphorical leash between dog & owner, which makes sense because it's fun symbolism both visually and in writing. But like. What if my dog-coded character is very pointedly not on a leash. What if my dog-coded character's metaphorical owner is essentially doing the equivalent of scrolling on his phone at the park and occasionally glancing up in amusement while his big-ass dog tramples every toddler in sight.
