Meredith comes off as unassuming, harmless nerd, even if he IS undead/forsaken, but he is actually a passive-aggressive Hater and probably doesn't like you. He would love to threaten people, but because he comes off as unassuming, harmless nerd, it doesn't really work : (

Meredith dislikes other undead also lmao. He WOULD rather steep in his resentment and bitterness (over feeling misunderstood/not belonging) than make connections with them. If you ever try to even hint you might understand him, he would dislike you extra hard. He internalizes all shows of compassion as condescending pity, and will react accordingly.

It's not fun.

The amount of information I receive has become shallower. Making informed decisions in raid environment has become harder. I used to rely a lot on sound cues for stuff (both raid mechanics and personal gameplay, like soul shard cap) and those cues don't exist anymore, and can't be made to exist anymore.

I think I will get used to it somewhat, but right now it's super frustrating. Two weeks ago I could customize the way I receive information. I can't anymore, not to the degree I want. Two weeks ago it was very clear when I got a mechanic, and what mechanic that was. Mechanic countdowns are worse. TTS announces is worse.

Since in theory Midnight raid would be designed around these limitations, I'm giving the first tier a try. I bought the expansion anyway. It's not going to bring back my character-specific sound cues etc. (i'm a hardliner - we should, actually, be given a free reign to customize the way we receive information abt our character. to me choice sound cues are better than graphics) but I'm willing to give it a good try.

why would i want my cast timer there.

why is that the only location the cast timer is allowed to go.

has the person who designed this ever seen majority of cast bar customization addons/weak auras.

my old castbar addon stopped working, blizzard default ui doesn't allow any usable customization, i had to find and configure a new castbar addon.

I don't think I'm the target audience for Lemix but I managed to finish it regardless. Well, I'm still missing the mythic no death mogs for leather/mail/plate from Trial of Valor but I think I'm ok missing out on them, I really don't have it in me to gear any extra characters.

It was fun to roll race/class combos I wouldn't usually go for, and design mogs for them. Also gave me a good look on how bad customization some races have :(

But all the news about the actual gameplay of Midnight is just yikes from me, from the small (no interrupts for healers???) to the big (my spec looks like ass to play, lack of combat addons...)

The lack of combat addons is especially huge. I'm someone who needs specific type of warnings, to the point I run weak auras, dbm AND bw to get the coverage I want (I could do it all with WAs if I wanted ik but I don't have the time or know how to write that many custom WAs for every single thing) and there is a snowball's chance in hell of blizzard being able to offer even a fraction of what i need when the game launches. raiding might actually become impossible for me.
