We Wonder..

Aw, what’d they get you? I let mine use the Bunsen burner to roast marshmallows again since they’d been hassling me to let them do it again for a long time so i finally caved.

Well I got a beanie with cat ears on it, and I have to say Alex thinks I'm quite adorable with it. And then I got a nice mug that looks like it has caution tape all over it. I love it. Oh did you? Haha, I let my kids watch  a series called Deadly Women from Investigation Discovery because it slightly dealt with our class in a way and they pretty much have done everything except the final and I didn't want to bore them with reviews and shit.

I’v been able to hold out longer though, normally they’ve been able to crack me 20 minutes before, but i was able to stay that extra 10 more minutes…but it’s when they were starting to use the bunsen’s i was like, okay i give up. I was also smart enough to wait until they all left the front door, i know their snow ball throwing tricks.

See, it ways easier to do that with college students!…high school students, yeah, not so much. All they were probably doing were hoping their plan to let them go early would work, which eventually did.

I know, I know. Hence, why high school students aren't for me. Yeah because you gave up, haha. They know you would.

I gave up half way through when students were trying to make their own personal heating with lab equipment. 

My students and I huddle in a circle on the floor under the heater and did a few things with our "lecture", which we basically talked about how crime scenes are played out when the techs come in.

The snow looks beautiful.. At least it’s not the gross kind of snow…

I was just making sure you still did, even when you made promise years ago. We always have him to thank for our love for Science, so it’s only logical that he get’s the first naming.

I keep my promises to you. Always. Always have him to thank, we really do... I can't believe he was such a major influence on us, you know?

I was hoping you still meant that. Exactly, if anything he should be getting the first one named after him. And y’know, for science! 

Of course I meant it! I always keep my promises to you. That is true.. Very true, haha.

Cause only the best leave their science room to their cousin. I’ll second that, just name it after him either way, he deserves it.

I'll have to leave mine to you like I always promised! Yeah that is true.. Our grandpa did so much.. for both of us and for science!
