Traditional faerie stories often portray them as genderless. I immediately saw what se did and loved it. They really stayed true to how fae should be written. Supernatural entities are often depicted as being above gender. I guess the concept is too difficult for some people to grasp, even in fiction?

Oh, and let’s not forget feo ul’s title is king.

I want to take a moment to appreciate and say: YES. Squeenix really did portray the Fae accurately and I was so happy running around Il Mheg cause of it.
