There are times when you need to step back and take some space. Not to run away, But to see everything from every different kind of perspective, So you can see everything clearer than before.

Alcune persone restano nella nostra vita solo per la parentesi di un bacio o di uno scambio di opinioni di fronte a un giornale, per farci incazzare in fila alle poste e per risvegliarci con un buongiorno mentre siamo assorti nei nostri pensieri, e non possiamo fare nulla per trattenerle, anche quando ci piacerebbe, perché è il giusto andamento delle cose: certe persone vanno e vengono. Poi però ci sono anche gli altri, quelli che a un certo punto non ci ricordiamo nemmeno da dove sono arrivati perché sembra che ci siano sempre stati, quelli che non vanno da nessuna parte, quelli che entrano nella nostra vita e fanno di tutto per rimanerci, perché non si sa come né perché, nella nostra ora ci si trovano parecchio bene, magari addirittura meglio di noi.

I think the hardest part about being suddenly left behind is the unprepared closure. No matter how much you want to tell them that they hurt you, or how much you want them to know that you let them in and they took advantage of that, no matter how badly you want them to admit that they did care, and that they still care….you don’t always get that conversation. Sometimes, all you get is the courage to say goodbye and the strength to pick yourself up and move on.
