“You cannot keep killing everyone I talk to! Why do I even need to have this conversation with you!”

“It’s not everyone and as much as your ass is sweet, you can’t stop me. I get rid out useless people, start making more interesting acquaintances.”

“I miss you.”

“We decided we were too dangerous for each other, B.”

She hesitated for a moment on principle, but eventually made her way over to him. “Well…welcome back.”

“Okay.” It doesn’t take him long to notice  that she’s being distant. “What’s got you  all cryptic and shit?”

Of course. Elsewhere was always better, wasn’t it? “I might have,” She replied, giving a simple shrug.

“Well that’s no way to welcome me back, Ro.” He pouts  at her, puppy eyes out there with no shame. “C’mere.”

“No, you could start by telling me where the hell you went for so long?”

“Just taking care of some classic family business.” In which he means he went to France for the anniversary of Clark’s sister’s death. It kept him, France always keeps him. “You sayin’ you missed me?”

“What the fuck do you want?” She heard there was a new girl around. She couldn’t possibly think of a reason for them to reconnect right now, but they seemed adamant about it. 

“Geez Ro, cool it with the hostility. What do I have to do, make an appointment?”
