“Ahhh, No! I want something else than those! Please?” She pouted and looked up at him, not enjoying the nicknames, despite already being used to them. 

He couldn’t help but laugh softly at her reaction only for him to tilt his head a little. “Then what kind of nickname would you like, Soonkyu?”

“Well, I didn’t think you would ever call me a dove, and usually they carry diseases and stuff…but I guess it’s cute.” 

“Oh wow, I just love how you see everything in such a positive light.” His lips curved into a small smirk as he arched a brow at the sound of her comment about the diseases. “I can go back to dwarf or midget if you prefer those names, though.”

“Why a dove? A bird?” 

“Why not a dove? Why are you so surprised about such a nickname?”

“I can’s hurt.” The girl shrugged, not even minding his words. That was true, she was unable to get hurt, it made her fearless after some time. As a toddler, she didn’t have the acknowledge of death yet. She walked inside the shop, glancing up at the male to wait for him to do as he wished, just following him around, silent. When he crouched down, she listened to his words and nods, walking to the place he pointed and crouching down herself, carefully picking a bowl and taking it back to him, waiting for him to give the next command.

For a second or two, he watched her walk over to the shelf to get him the bowl while he looked around for some sort of cat food          just in case their initial plan wouldn’t work. “Thanks. Now we need milk.” He stood up again before he slowly walked over to another aisle to get some, always making sure she was somewhere where he could keep an eye on her. Yongguk really didn’t want her to suddenly run off again. Taking the milk, he grabbed a small pack of cat food on his way to the checkout to pay. “Let’s go.”
