finlxywestbrookâ:
âFine fine, maybe I will just buy a new bar, one across the road and then I will have all the customers and youâll just have to come and work for me instead and then youâll see we could have just done this the easier way with you staying in bed.â He liked that she wanted to work really, he just didnât like that he had to entertain himself whilst she was gone all day. For a clever boy he wasnât very good at it now he didnât have the option of flirting with anyone that came into sight with him. âI have always wanted to get married.â He admitted, the flush on his cheeks clear. âI mean my parents are soppy as hell, and I think theyâre gross most of the time but theyâre also like super in love and I always wanted that. I just never really found anyway that wellâŚ.made me feel like I was going to get there.â The other girls had all annoyed him or bored him or heâd just been a general ass with them and he wanted to tell Addy that she was different but he was pretty sure that would scare he out of the bed. âBut with the right person, nothings stopping you youâre right.â Finley mumbled choosing to press a kiss to her lips instead of confirming it with words.Â
Addy chose to lose the âfightâ about the bars, seeing as Finley seemed like he was just going to keep on one-upping her every time. She chuckled as she shook her head. âYou, Finley Westbrook, might be kind of insane, you know that?â Insane in a good way, though. Or mostly a good way. Listening to him talk, Addy couldnât help but smile. âThatâs really sweet, though. That your parents are still in love like that. I never really got to see that side of it, but I donât really think thatâs stopped me at all. I just suppose, as Iâve gotten older, Iâve thought about it less and the possibility of it happening is lower. I mean, nobodyâs really gonna wanna marry you when youâre a shrivelled old maid, right?â She shrugged a shoulder, only slightly joking. When he kissed her, Addy happily melted into it like she often did whenever he kissed her. âThis might seem like a loaded question to ask someone of your age,â she mumbled after pulling away. âBut how do you think you know if itâs the right person?âÂ
