Meloghia Week 2021

Like wolves, Storm hounds reaffirm their bonds with one another by “singing” together. It’s called social glue (Thank you Wolf Conservation Center for this information! This is actually very cute and I love to know facts like that! :D) This social glue is like when we, humans, sing around a campfire.

Day 6: Music 🎵🎶

Melone grieves silently. He doesn’t make a sound and watches the void in front of him. He couldn’t even hunt for weeks because of this. he and Ghiaccio still supported each other and promised to do everything in their power to have a larger territory and more food to raise pups.

@yamsgarden  had a "movie genre" prompt for #meloghiaweek2021 and I had this weird idea of a sci-fi AU where Ghiaccio is one of those crazy conspiracy-theorists insisting that aliens are behind everything and are living among humans in secret...and Melone is one of said aliens being sent to spy on Ghia because they think he knows too much and is foiling their plans to take over the Earth 😂

Melone’s outfit is mostly taken from Cia and Rita from Hyrule Warrios and Tales of Vesperia :p

Not really following any prompts, just saw their day 3 #fairytale AU with Ghia as a pirate and Melone as a mermaid and thought "what if it was the other way around?"

So instead, to have some content, have some chibi Storm hounds Melone and Ghiaccio.

So where i come from the fairytale of the Princess and the frog is a little bit different. The Princess plays with her ball, which is made out of Gold, close to a well one day. Of course the ball falls into the water and the Princess is not happy about that. That‘s when the frog appears. He makes a deal with her, he will get the ball for her, if she becomes his friend and shares her plate and bed with him. She agrees, but leaves him at the well, once she got the ball, but the frog follows her and her father, the King makes her keep her promise. So she lets the frog eat from her plate, but she gets really pissed when he insist on sleeping in her bed. In fact she gets so angry that she throws the frog against the wall, which turnes the frog back into a prince. Which is why i chose that fairlytale, because it fits ghiaccio very well I think. They marry and live happily ever after.

Ghiaccio and Melone are very close to each other. They are confirmed mates in their pack Here they are, just cuddling and having their cute time.

Day 3: Little mermaid Or I guess… Little thiccmaid hmm yes that has a nice ring to it, legend of the pirate and the one large @$$ fish who wants to ehh hold hands… And possibly grab an ice cream with him

Ghiaccio is always a pain in the butt to draw as his mane is the most complicated to draw each time (along with Cioccolata, but it’s another story).
