darling i'm a nightmare.

At least this place has a bar. And people who are definitely easy on the eyes. I was starting to think that it really had nothing to recommend it.

Oh, and Jack, I know you’re there and you’ve probably claimed this place as your ‘territory’ by pissing on the nearest tree. Do everyone a favour and just stay in your basement. 

Don’t get your hopes up, dear. Other than that and a bit more, this place doesn’t really offer much. 

And if you don’t mind me asking, what about yourself? You turn into something?

I have, yes. Kitsune, I believe I would be called. Things have been.. interesting, to say the least. 

Rory had taken to spending most of his time back at home after his fight with Rose in the park, not to mention a close call with Dean later. He was still figuring everything out, and despite what Rose and Dean had said, he still didn’t completely hate the new transformation. Even if there was a huge part of him that was actually sort of terrified. 

He’d taken notice to a change in River too, not that it was surprising. The whole town did from what he could tell.  

Thankfully, he didn’t have the same reaction around her that he did with any of the new Angels in town, which he was thankful for. He just couldn’t figure out what it was she had transformed into. But when it came down to it, as long as he didn’t have the urge to kill whatever it was she was, he didn’t care. Instead there was something else he needed to talk to her about – and maybe get her help on

“Have you seen Amy?” He asked almost as soon as River came through the door. “I was avoiding her… But I think she might actually be gone.” 

The change this time was unlike anything else. She had claws? Sharp claws too. River was also sure that her super strength had been kicked up just a notch, something she wasn’t sure was possible until now. She was going to have to be careful, but there was a part of her that just.. didn’t want to.

She knew she wasn’t the only one to transform. The entire town was a frenzy, all trying to figure what they hell they were and how to make use of it. There was no possible way any of this would have a good ending, but there was no way to know for certain. All they could do was sit and wait. River was making her way home from the boutique, fully expecting Rory to be home. She wasn’t too sure what her father had changed into but she had a feeling it was anything but good news. All she could hope was that they could keep their distance, keep things civil. The last person she wanted to fight was Rory.
