It's not even "trojan horsed." It wasn't subtext. After being weird about being seen in women's clothes, denying being an egg that needs to be cracked open, having a girly asf room, expresses jealousy of Zooble's ability to change their body parts on a whim, constantly showing subtle discomfort in her body, and bullies the two most openly queer people in the circus because she's uncomfortable confronting herself. Plus like. Y'know. That's all before the show being written by a trans woman.

Goose wrote an in-denial, self-hating tranny from the start. An in-denial self-hating tranny, for the record, who expresses discomfort and desire to change her own body FROM HER BODY THAT IS CURRENTLY PRESENTING MALE.

Jax was always openly and obviously a trans woman to anyone with an once of knowledge about trans culture & media literacy. And if you lack those like... fine. You don't know what you don't know. But given how tightly what she is ties to the core of her arc throughout the show.

Depicting Jax as cis or transmasc or literally anything else is transfem erasure.

Lets make that 100% clear. That's like trying to take the black out of Miles Morales.
