Set in a vampire-haunted house in 1920s France, Memento Vivere is about the loving embrace of decaying houses you can’t leave, about lies and secrets you keep from those you’re closest to, about unforgiveable natures and love that you must believe will save you, but most of all, it’s about pushing your luck.
Content warnings include violence, murder, self-harm, disordered eating, suicidal ideation/tendencies/thoughts, depression, religious guilt and possibly delusions, unhealthy relationships, possible interpartner violence, abusive family, sexually explicit/suggestive content, and though not prominent and mostly internalised, homohobia, transphobia and racism.
