like, that IS a question, right? what about revival? would that just undo everything for him? i really feel like there would be so much anxiety and paranoia around it for him that he would put it off for that reason.

I haven't gotten all the way through iron lung yet cause I'm terrible with horror 🥲 but your idea about c!Techno as the Blood Ocean (God) and c!Dream as the convict hasn't left my mind! I think it fits them really well, and the idea of Techno mutating Dream so he can survive in the blood ocean with him has been haunting me. So anyway, here's a drawing of the blood ocean prying open Dreams submarine :3

Bruce finds out Jason came back to life way earlier than planned because halfway through patrol he gets an alert of a disturbance at Gotham Cemetery and when he and Tim get there it's to see Jason and Ra's in the dark with headlamps on next to Jason's now dug-up grave, dirt everywhere as Jason holds a shovel and Ra's holds the corpse of a dead chicken over the hole, ready to lower it, surrounded by league assassins either standing guard or holding notebooks and pens for if something actually happens and Ra's wants to take notes.

like, his intention was to take the heat off c!techno and show that they're not on the same side (even though they are) because c!techno's whole thing was 'sheriff, i shot that kid in the leg and punched him in the face because he was messin' with my animals and stealin' my food, i'm retired, i swear' and it'd probably not go over well if, uh, he was working with the most well-known outlaw in the area.

this is definitely something he's pulled before, just differently, because he knows that techno wouldn't go along with it if he just said it straight out. techno absolutely knows something is up but he and dream have also had some friendly competitions in the past and techno does believe that dream wouldn't save his life just to kill him. that's something everyone else believes of dream, sure, but techno doesn't.

it's so stupid but to dream's credit, it does work and everyone assumes they're actual rivals.
