Pomni saying "the villian?" was subtle foreshadowing because with Caine dead, there needs to be a person to fill the antagonistic spot, which jax is most likely to fill. The line "become part of the machine" is so interesting because with Caine gone jax might go even farther into his "archetype", thus becoming the hypothetical machine. And after this he says, "I play a key role". And as we can see, all over the movie poster, there are key holes. From this we can assume he will play a key role in the last episode.

ep 8 was quite literally everything i coulve asked for out of a tadc episode. Like when Caine was crashing out, that was soo terrifying. And now that caine is gone, is bubble running the circus?? and is bubble the blue ai at the start of the ep?

I feel like they're just gonna be trying to get away from Cainethe entire time and he'll have to process his emotions which will cause him to start glitching. But since he's AI he has to find a logical reason for why they wouldn't want to stay with him. He's like the absolute opposite of AM from "I have no mouth and I must scream" because he loves humans, the opposite from AM who hates humans but they're both still torturing the humans either way. But omg im SO excited for the flashbacks with queenie and ribbit.
