Me Learning Still

Hello, you can call me Me, or Mel. I didn’t find myself a nickname. It’s so difficult to find yourself a name, to decide what you want to be called, don’t you think? That’s why calling myself “Me” is accurate, I think. Simple. I’m Me…So, I’m a 24 years old person, drawing and painting since childhood. I graduated from college last year and I want to have a future full of art. I don’t know if I ever will have that but better try than regret it later, right?

I’m actually new to digital art. I’m trying to find something I enjoy making cause if not enjoyable for me why would I even bother. I watched a video on YouTube couple of weeks ago and I don’t remember what this specific style of drawing/illustrating called but I love it. I am practicing it. I don’t know technical stuff, this work might have many mistakes and error. But I am still learning so it’s normal.

I decided to illustrate one of my favorite characters in Harry Potter universe, Severus Snape. Alan Rickman is also one of my favorite actors ever. His acting always fascinates me in every movie he’s in. He has that aura.

I haven’t been using tumblr since 2016 and i feel like a boomer. But I wanted to share my art works or art attempts here cause I think tumblr’s art posts and art communities look more real, more sincere than other social media platforms. At least what it looks like from outside, idk,this place might be toxic as well, who knows…
