A mix of editing, layering, original video content and data moshing to develop an intriguing and unique look book! I wanted to challenge viewers perception of style and the look book - to look past the naturalised idea of fashion and continue to comment on fashion cinematography and its digital production.

Assignment 2 - VIDEO:

The process of creating this video and experimenting with different techniques has been surprisingly cool! Deciding to use data moshing was extremely easy after creating my first glitched video from one of my original look book clips. The way the colours blend and develop what I think are extremely beautiful artworks in themselves, is amazing!

I hope the data moshing will give my video more depth and another dimension of aesthetic appeal. The swirling of colour and image in context to my video is distorting the idea and image of the look book, blending the style in a way that disables viewers sight in an intriguing and beautiful way.

Inspiration: If I had the time, equipment, transport, skills and practice I would love for my video to be as professional as this example above, however I have done my best with what I do have to create a similar look book that is based in one location, with simple but effective editing and hopefully is still as engaging when viewed.
