Helpful Blacksmith

Arya becomes the Lady of Winterfell/Queen in the North. She and Gendry aren’t together, but the blacksmith has started to take on extra responsibilities that would normally only be performed by someone on her council. Arya doesn’t know what he’s trying to prove, but she appreciates the help, even if her other advisors are trying to put a stop to it.

“It’s barely been three months since the last Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Daenerys Targaryen, proclaimed independence for every single Kingdom and burned the Iron Throne. The northern Lords immediately rallied behind Arya Stark and procalimed her Queen in The North. It can be overwhelming, since there are a lot of repairs to be done after the War for the Dawn, but Queen Arya manages to do a good job. 

One eventful evening, her childhood friend, ser Gendry of the Hollow Hill, appears at the gates of Winterfell, and pledges himself to Queen Arya. At first, he remains in the forges, but eventually he starts taking on more responsibilities, such as helping the Queen to keep track of all the damaged structures, and accompanying her whenever she visits the smallfolk,. Even when the Lords in the Queen’s council are not happy with this, she knows her friend won’t betray her.

I can totally see this happening, that Arya reaches a point where she knows Gendry has her back! Besides Ser Gendry of the Hollow Hill is one of my favorite versions, you know he got knighted for her.

I also absolutely love Dany and was gutted at what they did to her in the show, so thanks for adding her with a positive spin!

Hey everyone sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you all! I wanted to give as many people as possible time to see the original post. So it seems like many are down to do the 🧡 SPOOKY 🖤 SECRET 🧡 PUMPKIN 🖤 EXCHANGE 🧡!!! Yay!! I know last Christmas’ Secret Santa was a lot of fun so I’m sure you lovely, wonderful people will bring that same energy to this Halloween event for everyone’s favorite ASOIAF/GOT pairing (whether it’s romantic or familial)! The gift can range from fanfics to art to gif sets to music playlists or whatever your imagination can come up with.

The exchange will take place from OCTOBER 30TH (All Hallow’s Eve) to NOVEMBER 1ST (Dia de Los Muertos). It’s open to anyone who wishes to participate. The only “rules” are that the “gift” be centered around Jon Snow/Arya Stark and have a theme fitting for Halloween or the fall season.

Below is everyone who showed interest on the first post. I’m tagging you all to double check that you are wanting to participate. Please let me know by either leaving a comment on this post, reblogging for confirmation, a direct message to me. If you are not listed below you can still participate, just leave a confirmation.

The deadline to confirm participation is SEPTEMBER 30TH. You will be assigned an exchange partner no later than OCTOBER 2ND.

Now to make sure everyone hopefully gets something they like, you can create a wishlist of what you might like to receive (eg~ jonrya as kids, trick or treating, horror story, tim burton crossovers, etc… have fun with it). Of course, the wishlists aren’t requirements but a suggestion to help your Spooky Secret Pumpkin figure out what you like. There’s no set deadline for the wishlists, but try to have them submitted by OCTOBER 7TH so your S.S.P. has time to work on your gift. You can submit your wishlists under #SPOOKY SECRET PUMPKIN so they can be found easily.

When you submit your gift make sure to tag the recipient and use #JONRYA HALLOWEEN so everyone can find it.
