literally nobody saw it fucking coming. the npc from the first episode who they gave a goofy joke name turning out to be a major character in the plot? fucking iconic. before the episode aired griffin was like “yeah I got really emotional and choked up recording this but I hope you all enjoy it.” any everyone lost their goddamned minds because they thought a character was gonna get pemakilled. instead it just turned out barry blue jeans was back and also he was a fucking powerful lich and everyone lost their goddamned minds again.

It always weirds me out how some latin@ people on these sites that are full of mostly anglo-speaking people are like… dismissive of their own culture, music and media, and the people who do enjoy them. Like, I grew up with dumbass telenovelas, Juan Gabriel and Timbiriche and it’s part of who I am. Die mad about it.

Srsly, some of y’all try very hard to seem deep by rejecting what’s mainstream in latin-american countries and I wouldn’t have as much a problem with it except there is also this under-current of feeling superior to those who aren’t like this and, like, I wasn’t aware that this is a contest. There is such a thing as a difference between ‘This specific thing never did anything for me but OK’ and ‘This sucks and if you like it you’re an idiot and I’m inherently superior’ and y’all are so ready to jump into the second bandwagon, it’s exhausting.
