So I’m not entirely sure how to even begin this or how I can make this articulate, but the past 48 hours have accumulated so much shit that’s been building up for months now that I’m still in shock that somebody would go so far over a roleplay on tumblr.

Those of you reading probably know me as Lar, the head admin of @ados-rpg​ which otherwise was known as A Dream of Spring RPG about 48 hours ago. If you have read anything posted by vofrph up until now, then you’re probably already writing this post off and thinking I’m a liar. Honestly, the evidence is pretty damning. If I weren’t the person accused I might have believed it myself. However, in this account of my interactions with the people behind vofrph, I hope to at the very least clear my name.

Luckily, I don’t use my real name on the internet. Lar is an alias I have gone by for years now. However, that has now been tarnished. In the past three days, somebody has gone to great lengths to fabricate screenshots and videos solely to incriminate me, have incited hate against me, and have posted my location online on a blog intended to direct hatred towards me. All over a roleplay.

Buuuuut, how can I say that these videos are fabricated? They’re videos, you can’t fake videos! Right?

Wrong. It can be done and here’s how. All you need to do it is some basic html knowledge.

Undoubtedly, this post is going to lead to further harassment and will probably even be turned against me through more videos of forged messages. But this isn’t about the roleplay anymore. This is about the fact that the blog behind this intentionally posted my physical location online and I am now legitimately afraid that they will attempt to release more of my personal information online amidst a witch hunt.

But hey, the RPG I poured two years of hard work into is ruined, my location has been posted online, and everybody in the RPC community who has seen the post thinks I’m a bully and a liar so what do I have left to lose! And unlike some people, I refuse to hide behind anonymity.
