bro what the fuck
Social medias deprive human life of its dignity.
There’s no other explanation for people to spread news from tabloids (moreover now, but also in general), paparazzi pics (moreover now, but also in general), spread lies, hate comments, rage bait posts, having a race for who posts what sooner.
You simply don’t see people as humans, but rather as contents, products available for consumption
I had a question about visiting the 1d phone booth. I wanted to try and leave a card when I visit next week. Do you know if visitors are allowed to or did you see other people leaving notes? If you’re not sure it’s totally okay, I hope you had a lovely time on your trip 🤍
Hi love!
We didn’t leave any note but we saw two girls who did. They just came in with their notes and just added them to the others with a pin I think. No one said anything and everyone was super respectful ❤️
It should be enough that Liam’s family shared him in life with the world. They shouldn’t have to share him in death, too.
I can’t believe there are lives for/from the funeral…

Hard Rock Cafe in London yesterday
My cousin and me just booked a random trip to London to visit all One Direction’s iconic places… if you see two women in their twenties crying at Madam Tussaud it’s us!
I don’t think if it was hard for Ashton when in 2022 he liked some tweets about how 5SOS career was better than Liam’s after Liam mentioned he didn’t know much about their careers.
I don’t want to send hate to him or anything like that, but it’s been hard to see a lot of people that jumped on “hating Liam; liking petty tweets about Liam; liking indirect comments about Liam” in 2022 or these past months and are now “I’m so sad, it’s so heartbreaking, he was so nice”.
i think there is a lot of guilt being had by a lot of people, and i don't think that diminishes their grief or how much someone did impact their lives. i'm sure ashton has been sent those tweets and been reminded of those actions tenfold ever since it happened. people do stupid shit as a knee jerk reaction, and it's not an excuse but they do.
i hate that it was trendy and cool to say cruel things about liam. i hate that it felt neverending at times regardless of if it was about important reasons to call him out over or just. superficial, petty reasons. i just hate that was the ecosystem around him for so long. and i hate people who was impacted by him and did care about him fell into that spiral at some point or another. it's tough.
Liam Payne's "Strip That Down" has reached a billion streams following Liam's passing
❤️🕊
as nauseatingly sad as it’s making me, i also think it’s so so beautiful that people from all different walks of life are holding memorials and tributes for liam. it’s always been one of my favorite things about the band—the way they touched people in every corner of the world. liam was always so curious and so respectful of different cultures, different places. and now fans are mourning him in different ways, making space for him in their culture and tradition. i do think he would have loved that and i’m sure it’s a comfort to his family. it’s not going to change anything but it must make them immeasurably proud to see how good their liam was, how many lives he touched and how many people he made happy. it’s very bittersweet

Enact Legislation to Safeguard Artists' Mental Health in the Entertainment Industry
#LiamsLaw
The entertainment industry, acclaimed for its glamour and stardom, is equally infamous for the enormous pressure it exerts on the mental health of artists. Resultant issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, substance misuse and even suicide are alarmingly high. According to research, performers are 2-3 times more likely to suffer from these issues compared to the general population.
In recent news of Liam Payne's tragic death as many others, the entertainment industry needs to be held accountable and be responsible to the welfare of their artists. We seek to implore lawmakers to create legislation safeguarding the mental health of artists within the industry.
Such a law would necessitate regular mental health check-ups, adequate rest periods, and the presence of mental health professionals on-set, including any ongoing support during their career. It will ensure a healthier, safer, and more conducive working environment for artists to cultivate their talents reducing phycological distress. This would also include early interventions to protect and minimise before it's too late. Furthermore, the increasing rate of musicians who die before the age of 35, is concerning. We need to act now!
The artist's role is invaluable not just in the world of entertainment but also in society. Let us ensure their protection and wellbeing. Your signature could be a lifeline for these talented individuals, contributing to a larger movement of mental health awareness and care in industries worldwide. Please, sign the petition.
