Have a Better Day

For every “⏳” I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.

He looked at the bottle” Yes, I can probably slip those to her.”

“Good. They’re designed to calm the mind and ease resistance,” Meiko crosses her ankles under the desk, leaning forward on her elbows. “I’ll look forward to meeting Sydney soon.”

“Thank you for your help. I will have her here soon.” He stood up” And I hope she doesn’t put up too much of a fight.”

Meiko nods towards the bottle, "those pills will help. Thank you for coming to me, Chris."

He looked at the bottle” Yes, I can probably slip those to her.”

"Good. They're designed to calm the mind and ease resistance," Meiko crosses her ankles under the desk, leaning forward on her elbows. "I'll look forward to meeting Sydney soon."

Chris nodded” I can go out and get her. Should I bring her straight here?”

Meiko's smile grew. "Yes. That would be the most convenient way." She rolled back from her desk enough to open one of its drawers. Out of it, she pulled an unmarked pill bottle. "Would you be able to slip her one of these before she arrives in Battery City?"

“My sister is currently living out in the zones but I feel better if she was here in the city but last time we talked about it, she fought me. The Killjoys she’s been living with have polluted her mind with their ways.  I’m wondering if Re-education would help her. “

Meiko looked at her computer, typing and pulling up his sister. "Sydney Tsukino? We've been keeping an eye on her." She looked back over at Chris. "Re-education can most certainly help bring her back to the City, where she belongs. I can send you out to get her."

“I was wondering if you can help me with something” He told her after sitting in the chair in front  of her desk.

She leans forward, clasping her hands in front of her. "That depends on what the something is."

Meiko moved some files on her desk, looking up when she heard the knock. “Come in,” she called.

Chris stepped in” Good evening. Dr, Estrada”

Folding her hands in front of her, she smiles up at the draculoid. "What can I do for you, Chris?"
